50x $75 discount coupons for Allston/Brighton Residents which can be applied to any class we offer between February and April
This post is a high level overview. I will post updates here, and hope to have discussions with volunteers here as well. I will use the [A/B CC] prefix whenever I am discussing this program.
How this plays out depends on how many volunteers we get. This program, while short and sweet, has all the foundations for continuing to expand our class offerings and engage more directly with the Allston/Brighton community. Rough Timeline
Starting Monday Dec 16
week 1 - gather volunteers, program detail finalization, maybe marketing
week 2 - holiday week
week 3 - marketing efforts & tech implementation efforts begin
week 4 - register classes you want to teach!
week 5 - begin testing entire pipeline
week 6 - squash bugs
week 7 - Launch! Feb 01
This timeline might seem a little ambitious, but we have flexibility in how this program turns out. So get excited and bring your skills, energy and time to make this a flowing river
Program Details
Through a marketing campaign we will reach out to Allston/Brighton Residents informing them this coupon exists. They will follow the QR/URL to a landing page which will excite them to follow through and fill out the application form. Once the form is filled an email will be sent with the unique code and information on how to sign up for classes. The resident will sign up for and attend the class, during/after which we will try to get feedback on how it went.
The coupon will allow residents to sign up for any class within a specific time window, roughly 3 month period, however the coupon itself will expire after ~4weeks (tbd) so if they do not follow through on signing up, we might be able to give the coupon to another resident who does follow through.
