In cherry. Made during the Bowl Turning 101 class w Sal.
I was almost done hollowing out the bowl when my bowl gouge got caught and my bowl flung off the lathe :'(. It left a long scar but I sanded it down. Initially finished with walnut oil and beeswax during class, but I rinsed the bowl and it washed out… I refinished it with Real Milk Paint’s Half & Half (1:1 Tung Oil and Citrus Solvent) and Wood Wax (Walnut Oil & Carnauba Wax) - currently curing.
Bonus: I found this piece in the scrap bin!! I routered the edges and finished with the same stuff above. Will use as a small cutting board.
