I’m looking for ideas for our next social event. What are we feeling? Do we want to just do another potluck again?

I’m open to a lot of things, but potlucks seem to be pretty popular (and I do like them, so biased towards them…)

A long time idea that I have is naming corridors and making street signs for them.
This would probably take months/several social events to actually complete.
Step 1. Identify corridors to be named and mark it on a map
Step 1.5 Set basic rules around naming
Step 2. Assign groups to pick a name for a specific corridor (e g studio holders on that street) or we collectively pool names and vote on the best names or something else
Step 3. Locate places to put up posts for street signs
Step 4. Build Signage & Posts
Step 5. Paint signage
Steps 1-3 can be done offline/intermittently
Step 4 & 5 could be actual events
I don’t want to spearhead this effort, but Ill help in small ways/participate if you want to !
I’m not opposed to the idea, but I’d mention history that this was proposed MANY times @ Tyler St. and never really reached completion - there were to many disagreements about the ‘name themes’ and other details…
That said, IMHO we could use some sort of naming scheme more here than @ Tyler where we at least had the building numbers to describe ‘neighborhoods’…
I.e. the two studio areas in Antwerp, and the several different blocks in Holton… (at least a way that maps to the areas controlled by light switches…)
